The Rohrmoser family’s organic farm “Reiterhof” is picturesquely situated on the outskirts of
Sankt Johann im Pongau, in the quiet
Maschl district
.
Our philosophy is to offer our guests a relaxing and at the same time exciting experience on the farm. We want to show how important species-appropriate treatment of animals and nature is and how valuable and beautiful life on a farm can be. We also achieve this through our “School on the Farm” for excursions with the entire school class and through our specialization in forest education and animal-assisted education.
We live on our farm with a variety of trained animals and offer you safe handling of the goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, donkeys, cows & calves
As a suckler cow farm with modern loose housing, our animals are on the farm all year round. Our chickens provide us with fresh eggs every day, while our donkey “Bimbolie” greets all guests in the barn with his loud “IH-AH”!
Our motto is:“We didn’t inherit the land from our parents, we just leased it for our children.”
We therefore focus on sustainability and passing on knowledge to future generations. Systematic and environmentally conscious waste separation is particularly important to us in this regard, as is the appreciation of our food, including its recycling.
We would also like to invite you to enjoy our mountain water from our own forest spring. Try to save plastic and resources with us and use reusable bottles, which you are welcome to fill up with our high-quality tap water.
